Your main fandom of the year: Well, see, here’s the thing: it kinda changed about mid-year. At the beginning of 2010 I was all YAAY!KRADAM! and then I tapered off from the super intense AIRPS love I had going on and went crazy for Sherlock.
Your favorite film this year: Does “Going Postal” count?
Your favorite book this year: Unseen Academicals. (Are you sensing a theme?)
Your favorite album or song this year: The acoustic version of Paparazzi (Cherry Hill version). Also I think I listened to Kris Allen and Allison Iraheta’s cover of The Scientist daily for about 3 months. I love Allison’s voice. Her Holiday acoustic version is also a huge favorite.
Your favorite TV show this year: Phineas and Ferb and Community.
Your favorite LJ community this year: I really don’t hang out in communities on LJ for whatever reason. I mostly use them as a way to find fic.
Your biggest new fandom discovery of the year: Sherlock. . He’s just beautiful and alien and everything I want in an antihero and he has John who keeps him just this side of acceptable. And Mycroft. Who will cut you. And Lestrade. And Moriarty. OMG. Sherlock just did it for me.
Also, H50. HOMG. H50. Danny and Steve ARE SO MARRIED. They are more married than John and Rodney were, which, having said that I now want to duck from any incoming lightning bolts.
Your biggest fandom disappointment of the year: Inception. Everyone is all OMG SO AWESOME and I just didn’t get it, maybe? I watched it several times, waiting for the awesome that all the writers I love and trust keep talking and writing about to pop out at me and it just didn’t.
Your TV boyfriend of the year: Dean Winchester and Castiel. (both are my boyfriends AND each other’s boyfriends. That’s just how we roll.)
Your TV girlfriend of the year: Olivia Dunham. OMG. Fringe, you guys, Fringe!!
Your biggest squee moment of the year: Danny called Steve “babe”.
Your most missed old fandom: Numb3rs. It’s off the air and seemingly no one is writing it anymore. boo.
Your fandom that you haven't tried yet, but want to: I would like to try Glee. Maybe. I’m not quite sure I want to re-expose myself to Highschool Teenage Drama. Living through it once was pretty awful.
Your biggest anticipation of the new year: Moar Doctor WHO!!!! He’s not 10, mind, but 11 is pretty awesome. And MOAR SHERLOCK. And WHITE COLLAR and MOAR THINGS WITH CHRISTOPHER PINE’S PRETTY FACE IN THEM. Because really, Chris Pine is just beautiful beyond belief. It’s like he’s not even a real boy, he’s so beautiful. But I digress.
