I'm really trying to consider this grad school thing. I mean, I really want to just get it over with. In order to really work in my field, I need the education under my belt. I can't really have a job (that pays decently) that I love until I at least have my master's degree, and until then I'm either doing a job I hate or I'm being almost wholly supported by Dan (which is pretty much the way it stands now).
On the other hand, a semester (plus a summer) off sounds REALLY appealing right about now, and while my "semester" off when I was in college the first time grew into 4 years off, there's very little risk of that now, because I KNOW what I want to do, and schooling is the means of getting there, rather than an end in itself. Also, if I DID take a semester off, I'd be able to attend the event in February (is this a secret thing? I've been being purposefully vague). Hmmmm.
Lol. Pushy is good! I really don't know what to do; advice helps. However, it might end up being a moot point after all. I dunno if I'm going to be able to get the application in and the GREs done before the October deadline.
