Yup, fastest he was. :) Here's a bit about the results - Fernando Alonso sent a message to his new team and his rivals withhis first day on the job at Renault, when he topped the times in testing at Jerez on Tuesday.
The Spaniard was having his first experience of last year’s R27 and, after spending the early part of the day finding the limits of the car, he set his best lap of 1:19.503 late in the afternoon as he did two quick runs.
Alonso’s best effort was just more than a tenth of a second ahead of McLaren test driver Pedro de la Rosa in the new McLaren MP4-23, with Ferrari’s Kimi Raikkonen just 0.005sec further adrift in the F2008.
Williams’ Nico Rosberg continued to show some impressive speed in the interim FW29B, setting the fourth-fastest time, just ahead of Felipe Massa and Heikki Kovalainen.
Awww, thank you for that :). Brilliant! I'm so happy about this, considering he was using last year's not too competitive Renault, against Mclaren & Ferrari's new ones. Certainly impressive! Now let's hope it only improves from here...
This is a nify idea! I watch about 10 new movies a month...I just might steal this little idea from you. :P I really want to see Elizabeth: The Golden Age! It looks so good! Plus I have the HOTS for Clive Owen. XD
No worries, steal away! Clive Owen was pretty hot in this movie. His relationship with Elizabeth was pretty fascinating.'Made me want to research the original Walter Raleigh, you know...
Yeah, I heard about that! How horrifying! I'm still a bit confused though... Was she also the woman who played Dawn in the movie? Her surname was interchangeable between Shelly and Kelly... I don't know why... Nevertheless, it was so sad... :(
i don't remember her name, but in the end she married the guy who semi-stalked her first, then wrote her 'spontaneous poems' that were totally lame but at the same time, totally adorable. i loved that movie. especially the pie names.
Pie names... I think my favorite is something like, "Earl's gonna kill me because I have an affair pie," the one with crushed blueberries and raspberries. Hee!
