He looks sooo much more relaxed at Renault. It's so good to see him happy again.

That was a great race. Fernando was brilliant, fourth was a great result. Especially because he could have been caught up in the chaos at the start. Those 2 overtakings you mentioned were great and I agree about Heikki. I like him but it's like he's sold his soul to the devil. Kimi did fantastically, Massa was completely mad though. Poor DC.

That first commercial is hilarious. Aw and that second one.

Have you ever been to a race? I'm so jealous you live in Aussie. I'm rather obsessed with it at the minute and so want to go when I'm old enough (I sound like a 13-year-old not a nearly 18-year-old "when I'm old enough" lol)

I miss the blue and yellow too, but the orange is alright. Fernando makes everything wearable!

I was so pessimistic about this race that when I saw all those fights in turn 1, I was like, yup, that's it, I bet Fernando's gone.

But then I saw a Ferrari (Kimi's) and a Renault with the red top running not too far from the front!

I really hope it only continues upward for Fernando. It's obvious that Renault hasn't yet got the pace of the McLarens and Ferraris, but I do hope that the drivers continue to struggle with traction control, making the races more exciting and perhaps lessening the dominance of those two teams.

I love how the commercials seem so friendly to Fernando and just... make sense :). Especially if you compare it to Wonder!Boy's new Vodafone ad, which was just, 'What?'Unfortunately, no, I've never been to a live race! I know, such a waste, right? I was gonna go this year, but the impending Ham victory and Alonso's inferior car made me put it off again. But, seriously, everyone told me that it's worth it. It's definitely not like on TV, because you can barely hear anything (which, after hearing the ITV ( ... )

I completely agree. No TC is brilliant, it definitely puts the cats among the pigeons. I'd love to see how Lewis does from 10th on the grid and has to get past people rather than starting from Pole and not having to worry at all.

Renault hasn't got the pace but they don't seem too far off. Especially since he held Heikki off!!

They are great commercials. Lewis's is ridiculous. I just don't get it. What does Lewis racing through a street (which is sooooooooooo fake!) got to do with a man and woman kissing on a train station... no idea.

Aw, you should go! It's expensive though. I was looking to go with my dad and sister to Barcelona/Valencia and the prices for the tickets into the circuit are so expensive. My dad nearly fainted! I'll go one day, because Alonso-Mania would make it a great race!!

ING has been their sponsor and of the Aussie GP since last year. Cool, huh? You should be proud of your country and support Renault hee hee, especially since Spyker's gone

Yes, wonderboy (I like your nickname, I'm snagging it) won but honestly, he drove faultless so he did deserve it.
That's kinda my problem with him though. Driving from pole with the fastest car on the grid is not exactly the hardest thing. Just slam on the gas. He didn't have battle with people or navigate his way through dozens of cars, so for me, Ham didn't really prove anything but his great ability to do well in qualifying. Of course, I hate his bloody guts, so you'd expect me to say that.

Kimi was such a champ. Everything he did showed his qualities as one of the best drivers. Unfortunately, yeah, he doesn't have the best of luck. There really was a reliability problem with the Ferrari, but, being such a top team, I'm sure they'll sort it out by next week.

Only 7 cars finishing is sad yet hilarious at the same time. You aussies do know how to make things ( ... )

Hmmm, yeah, that makes sense. I support drivers too, which is why I basically follow wherever Fernando and Kimi are going... I like a bunch of other drivers other than those two, some more than other, but I mostly just hate Ham.

Oooh, that sounds like a cute interview? If you can somehow find it, of course I'll be very grateful. But if you can't, no worries :D.

F1 is my number one sport. There's just something about the cars... And the drivers. I just love it.

Ps: I'm glad I can read French, since your entire LJ has turned French. Like the 'leave a comment' pr the 'preview' buttons right under this space where I'm typing.
Hmmm, yeah, I think I need to fix that...
