I'm dreadfully sleepy (Daylight Savings screwed me over today), but I must make this post:
F1 - Bahrain GP
YAY for BMW leading the constructors' championship points! How cool is that? With their reliability so far and their pace in this race (outstripping the McLarens, remarkably), they well deserve it :).
I would've preferred for Kimi to win the race, obviously, but I suppose Massa NEEDED that victory A LOT more, following his ghastly first two races. Plus, Kimi did look lackluster today, I wonder why... Well, at least he's leading the drivers' championship points, so yay!
And how BRILLIANT is it that Heidfeld is second in the championship? Especially combined with Kubica winning pole and ultimately finishing on the podium, I'd say this was an excellent weekend indeed for BMW :D.
I'm of course a bit heartbroken that Alonso finished outside the points, but, hey, he's still in the top ten (I must now be content with lower benchmarks). And he DID do so while driving the evidently struggling Renault (teammate Piquet, who, OMG *teenage girl moment*, is, like, so cute! *gush, gush* didn't even finish) with a broken tail wing, courtesy of bloody Wonder!Boy.
On that subject... WARNING: Here comes the curses...
The fucking ITV commentators fucking got on my nerves when they would not fucking shut up, speculating that the accident was Alonso's deliberate doing (ie. slamming on the brakes) to somehow fuck with Wonder!Boy's race as part of his eeevil fucking plan to exact revenge on his former teammate.
Give me a fucking break!
Why the fuck would Alonso do that deliberately and risk damaging his own fucking car???
In fact, I believe that irreplaceable tail wing (unlike fucking Wonder!Boy's nose wing) did end up messing up the Renault's aerodynamics tremendously (his back part was going all over the place in the turns!).
But the fucking wankers would not stop bitching about it, wondering when the stewards will investigate Alonso, insinuating that there was supposedly no reason for Alonso to slow down at that particular part, even pathetically bringing up Coulthard (!), who, they said, was once pissed off at Alonso about a similar incident...
I just couldn't listen too much of the bullshit, I had to mute the damn thing!
The wankers were finally somewhat shut up when one of their pit reporters said that McLaren saw no point of contesting that particular incident, since neither Hamilton nor Alonso finished in the points.
That's right, so fucking SHUT THE HELL UP!
*exhale*
God!!!
It wasn't even so much Wonder!Boy who pissed me off this time, but more the media who worshiped pathetically the ground beneath his feet.
Get a fucking grip, you losers!
You know... You guys in my FLIST probably don't see much of my uncontrollable temper, reading my (edited) journal, but I do have it and my new year's resolution this year is actually to curse less, heh.
So much for that, huh?
There is just something about sports, isn't there, that brings it out in you?
Moving on... I don't really have much else to say about the race, I don't think. Webber had an uncharacteristically NON-unlucky race and finished in the points. Rosberg continues to do well. As does Trulli.
F1 - Bahrain GP
1. Massa
2. Kimi
3. Kubica
4. Heidfeld
5. Heikki
6. Trulli
7. Webber
8. Rosberg
Final Note: I did laugh like a maniac and cried out, "SWEET JUSTICE!" when Wonder!Boy rammed his car, trying to overtake Alonso. 'Hope that doesn't come back to bite me.
Next race in two week's time is FERNANDO!LAND in Barcelona, woot! Should be good :).
NASCAR in under two hours, I think, but it's too late for me to stay up, so I'll watch it when I wake up. Yay for motorsports!
I'm desperate for sleep, but just a little update: I AM HOPELESS ADDICTED TO BATTLESTAR GALACTICA! OMG, why was I so late to jump on this fabulous bandwagon? It's such a fantastic show! It's like an addictive soap opera, but WAY MORE intelligently-written and less trashy/cheesy than the other great soapie on prime-time, One Tree Hill. I'm only up to mid-season 2, but expect me to catch up to season 4, which just premiered last Friday (woot!), soon. At this moment, I still have to say that my ABSOLUTE favorite characters are Sharon and Helo. This is going to sound weird, but they (and she, in particular) won me over with their HUMANITY. Expect me to write something longer later on :D. And if you haven't tried out this show, go do so!
*end annoying plug*
