Is it Canada Day?
When I was walking home from work just now, I heard some drunken singing of "Oh Canada" behind me and thought it was completely random.
Huh.
:D
Since I have a number of 'Canucks' in my FLIST...

When I've finished season 1, I'll post my thoughts. :)

And it's funny that you should call Canada "Down Under", since here, we call Australia Down Under! ;)

There are also many concerts across Canada, usually. I don't know all of them, obviously, but I know there are some in my hometown, and in Quebec City, which is a really important Canadian city, where Hedley (my favorite band, in case you didn't hear... ;D) are right now. And I think there might be some parades too, but I couldn't tell you. I really don't know what goes on in the rest of Canada... I'm such a bad patriotic person. :( Usually, people in Quebec rarely celebrate Canada Day, seeing as Quebec Day in the week before (June 24th) and most Québécois would rather have the independance. It's a funny thing, I was just talking about this earlier today with my roommie... it's like we cannot decide to like both. We have to be either Québécois or Canadians. But I chose to be both! lol
Wow, that's a whole lot of rambling... sorry about that! :P
(you know what I should get? A "proud Canadian" icon! lol)

141 years young, awww... So that would make it... Was it 1867 when you got your independence? Hmmm, I didn't realize you guys were almost a century younger than the Americans. Coolio.
