Okay, so I've disappeared off into the abyss for the last month or so...

Lots of development in my real life, but I don't feeling like getting into that for now.

I'm quite excited about all the TV shows returning. At the moment, I only have the occasional Psych to sustain me. Like everybody else and their cleaning lady, I think I'll make a ( Read more... )

I know... Exciting! I've been wondering how these last couple of months passed by...

Oh yeah, I love "FRAK". So versatile :D.

Awww, don't worry about it... My life is not bad, it's just sort of busy with stuff that makes me feel like I can't be a carefree little kid anymore (I am 23, haha).

Exactly. I bet you were so pissed off with the last race. I was so bummed out about Kimi! And they handed a penalty to Lew-Ewww, but he still finished #3. Arghhhhh.... I can't stand the thought of him winning the Championship.

I'm using this icon because I need to see Kimi & Fernando smiling... :D

I thought Kovalainen got the penalty, and Lew-Ewww finished #1. Heidfeld was #3 because had changed his tires to rain tires. (slicks?) So I don't quite get that comment. :P

Nah, didn't you hear??? After the race, PTB decided to hand over a penalty to Lew-Eww for his move on Kimi (like, he cut through the grass, right, to get ahead of Kimi and he was supposed to give the place back, and he did, but he did it in such a way that PTB thought wasn't kosher). Anyway, yeah, he got a 25 seconds penalty. Unfortunately with the field spread out as it was, that means he still finished oficially #3. Massa got bumped up to the win, while Heidfeld got #2.

I still think he's a lucky asshole.

SHE LIVES!!! :D

Non of the new shows are catching my fancy either. I thought about giving Fringe a chance but decided since it's on FOX I will wait and see if it lasts more than 5 episodes.

Hey you... :D "Gustafawesome" hehe... That reminds me, I haven't watched Richmond! Shall do that now. It was aired pretty late yesterday afternoon, because there were so many other events, like tennis and soccer, my sports channels decided to air live. I watched it a bit last night and it annoyed me how they cut down the race... Like one moment it was lap 21 and the next it was 35, and I was like, what??? When did that guy get up there? But, anyway, better than no coverage at all ( ... )

Well Richmond was delayed from Sat night to Sun morning due to tropical storm Hanna - sucks that they cut your coverage like that though.

Locking into the Chase - since you only have to be in the Top 12 to qualify and you can only score 181 points a race, that is how you lock in. Biffle just had to start his engine because he was gauranteed a certain amount of points no matter where he finished - I can't remember exactly how many points 43rd gets.

Fringe

Ahhh okay... I guess that makes sense. Thanks for explaining it. Your icon is so appropriate btw, hee ;).

Thank you. I knew you'd appreciate the McGosling awesomeness... :D

I was just thinking about you, wondering where you'd been hiding, and then here you are.

I agree about Goddamnit, it is more fun in writing than it is in speech.

Anyways... nice to have you back.

Awww, that's sweet of you... :D

Your icon reminds me... Have you seen Hellboy 2? Was it good? I was kind waiting for reviews before I'm watching it...

I love how "goddamnit" is spelled, you're right... ;)

I have seen Hellboy 2, I saw it twice! I thought it was really good, if you liked the first one you'll probably like it. I had only one major complaint, at the very end, but it wasn't a complete deal breaker. See it.

And yay! Colbert icon, I'm watching him as I type this.

Coolio, thanks for that :D.

And, yay, Colbert!!! That's right, it's 20 to midnight over there, isn't it? Yesterday at work, there was a client who listed "Colbert St" as their address and I was giggling, hee hee...

Yay, you're back!!! *points to icon* I guess I really am the Peter to your Nathan :P

You know, it's funny, I had a dream last week that you called me. And we talked in French for about an hour. It was pretty funny. :P (can't remember what we talked about though. :/) Anyway.

I hope these are good developments. *hugs*

I can't wait for my shows to come back, honestly. I'm at the point where I watch all the bad French translations I can get just to get a few shows. (Veronica Mars and SPN are my favorites! :P) As far as new shows go, I think I'll watch Fringe, but that's pretty much it. Of course, I'll probably change my mind halfway through the season like I always do, but we'll talk about that later. :P ( ... )

lol yeah, you spoke fluent French in my dream. It was pretty cool. Although I remember I was using a French accent to make sure you understood everything and my mum thought I was going crazy! :P

I'm glad to hear nothing's too bad. :) (and you're never too old to be a kid, trust me. Life can keep telling you you're old and all that jazz, but as long as you believe you're young, you stay young.) *hugs*

I think they're the Bryan brothers? Or something like that? I didn't see them a lot (my dad switched channels at one point to watch golf... how boring! :P), but from what I saw they were good (if only I could remember anything from my tennis lessons, I'd be a much better judge! :P). I'm pretty sure that the fact that they're brothers make them a better team. Just like the brothers from my hockey team: when they actually play together, they're awesome. They must have a special connection or something. Just like the Petrellis and the Winchesters, obviously. I don't think this obsession is dying. Ever. lol ( ... )

Haha, I'd imagine it'd be like me using a British accent to talk to someone who's used to hearing it, rather than American/Australian accents for example. That'd be weird!

Young at heart, huh? *starts singing "Forever young... I wanna be forever young..."*

Yeah, I think it IS the Bryan brothers! Don't give up your brother obsession! It's so precious and unique and very YOU!!!

Ah, "merde"... Hehe, yeah, I like that one. Merci :).
