so I know I said I was gonna be gone and never really post.... I'm so sorry to hear about Leon's back problems (and your little crash and burn at the office today.) Scary stuff... it sounds like you're taking very good care of him though. Dinner sounded *delicious* (but I dunno about pork roll!)

Awww Honey! I'm sorry you fell. I'm not so much a faller as I am a 'head bonker'. I bump my head on everything... OH! And I have cronic 'turn a corner too soon and ram my shoulder into the wall's corner' issues. It's no surprise that I've dislocated my shoulders multiple times. (Though, not from doing that.)

I'm very sorry for Leon with his back pain. That sucks! I hope he feels better soon. But I'm glad you are there to help him. You guys are so good at taking good care of eachother. I'm so happy you found eachother. :-)

you know jen, my little sister has two discs that are like leons.
but she and my older sister both pharmacists learned that the shots, while do help ease the pain, it causes calcification of the bones.. and will be more of a problem in the future.

she deals with her pain by doing a lot of yoga and by going to an accupuncturist. he seems to be the only thing that helps her. it's so hard to watch them her. you can tell when she gets up out of a chair that she has to mentally balance herself on her legs first before actually just getting up like we do. the dr doesnt recommand surgery for her though. says that she's too young.

it sucks. life is so unfair.

we do yoga :( It doesnt help. At this point its so much pain.. he cant even really do that. The problem for him is that the disk is actually pushing against the sciatic nerve and it causes pain in his legs and numbness.
