Please give me a critique on these two designs. One is for a new website, and the other is for a business card I will take to Siggraph.

This semester I get to work with my hands, building a half size human character of clay for my constructive anatomy class. For mid terms, we have to have the primative forms completed on the armachure.. pelvis, ribcage and head. These primative forms provide the points where muscles will be applied to the character. For about the last two weeks ever since I got my new computer I have been trying to get it to work for what I actually bought it for - that is, to run Maya and be able to animate with it.
