If You Let Me cadhla February 20 2016, 19:39:43 UTC
"I can cure you if you let me,"
Said the vampire to the maid,
"I can suck the poisoned passion out,
And leave you half-unmade,
And you'll wake as something different,
That can never be betrayed,
If you let me, if you let me,
I'll love you."

"It will hurt in the beginning,"
Said the vampire with a grin,
"Stabbing's never quite that easy,
But it's better to begin,
You can't heal by being stubborn,
And you're shrinking in your skin,
If you let me, if you let me,
I'll love you."

"I am what you've always wanted,"
Said the vampire as she rose,
"I'm your home and your horizon,
I'm your Empress in new clothes,
And I'll love you, and I'll leave you--
That's the bargain, I suppose.
If you let me, if you let me,
I'll love you."

"If you let me, if you let me,
I'll love you."
