I don't know how to be bored constructively. Since the predominant mood of my life at this point is boredom, this presents a problem. When I'm bored, I don't read, don't write, don't draw, don't paint, don't exercise, don't work, don't go outside. Rather, I'll sit around, listen to music, play some air drums, a little air guitar. as someone who took a two hour nap today, in spite of sleeping a full 8 hours last night, i understand. i'm going to try to go to the bouldering wall more. really, i think the answer is just to get out of your room. take your music for a walk, go get a cup of tea or a snack... write me a letter! i love youuuuu

I had been feeling that way too. But then I started a new sketchbook. I'm worried about what will happen when my creativity runs out, as it surely will.

We can always hang out sometime, you know.

1. i don't have the book for my law class so i've been using wikipedia entries on torts and contract law to do my homework. so far it's working pretty well.

2. i don't like what you're implying about your air drumming skills. you're very talented.

3. your air drumming is eclipsed only by your writing (possibly also your ability to say burt reynolds with a french accent and make me think it's the french term for mustache). anyway, the point is, you're even capable of being eloquent in a livejournal entry about boredom. i still advocate some sort of (not necessarily live-) journalesque freewrite if you're bored. i know you've said that feels forced but maybe it's necessary to force yourself. you're an amazing writer and i don't want you to waste it, is all.

although, i have a feeling writing wouldn't help much with your ennui. you're restless. you just are.

i was prepared to write a short essay on this topic but i think maybe i'll just talk to you later.
