THANK YOU. I was just saying a couple days ago that "hip" versions of Christmas songs make me want to cover myself in gasoline, light it on fire, and give a good christmas hug to everyone that is near. i'm going to start carrying around earplugs whenever i most absolutely have to go out in public so i don't have to listen to that putrid bullshit. i hate christmas music more than anything.

My parents are likely to have tons of christmas music playing when I return home. I suppose it isn't quite as bad because they prefer the "classics" rather than the new hip versions. If one of those versions comes on the radio I usually hear my mom shout, "What is this shit?!".

I tend to just ignore that shit and see it as more of a time to appreciate my family and just enjoy their company. I'm not very religious though.
