last friday, i saw a 60s anti-vietnam war documentary at the film archives, which left me feeling ill and wondering why so little has changed with regard to foreign policy. ("we could keep fighting this war for ten years, twenty years, thirty years, and who would stop it?" what's in our "national interest" is the same now as it was then.
