i hate sleep. everytime i wake up, i am overwhelmed with this feeling of sadness and loneliness. i also being to think nostalgic things and i hate it. i give up sleeping. my dreams never make sense anyways.
ever since college started, i have found friends. people who dress in colors and speak in beautiful words and bring out this person that i have longed to be. i thought that it was too late to become this person i want to be but it is not! it is never too late to become the person you could have been. my transformation to a butterfly begins now, today, this moment. the cocoon is beginning to crack and break and color and joy are seeping through.
on friday, allyssa, eric, evan, jordan, edward, and i all went to the loop. we walked around for a bit and i bought the most loveliest dress ever!! allyssa told me that i look like "a victorian cupcake" when i wear it. and i also bought some pins; a deer, a fish, and a bird. and once we became bored of walking around, we sat down on the street corner and played The Beatles songs on guitar and sang. we made three dollars and ten cents in the end. we also went to Bubble Tea and eric bought me a strawberry snow since they wouldn't accept my card. he's sweet. and he likes me :) on saturday, i went to rollercade with taylor where we witnessed the master of dance and red/pink's relationship and her unfortunate facefirst fall. on sunday, i went with allyssa to the japanese festival. it was fantastic! we saw this cute little old asian man spin tops and tell us how he cheated after every trick. haha silly :D and i opened my first japanese soda. its awesome how they make even opening a drink incredibly fun!! we also had delicious sushi and shrimp :) afterwards we hung out at her house, played rockband and pokemon stadium (i won :D) and went on a walgreens adventure to get foundation, energy drinks, and oreo cakesters and be scared to death by the psycho jack in the box...then watched Tool Academy. we pretty much have our whole fall planned out..of course including but not limited to haunted houses, apple picking, pumpkin patches, and parties...lots of parties :)
something interesting quoted from the history channel;;there is a birth boom after wars...it is a way of saying "even though these terrible things happen, we believe in the goodness of life."
