Regarding Lost...

Alright, I enjoyed the premiere, Locke's flashbacks were great, and Everybody Hates Hurley was a good episode. I pretty much skipped ... And Found (saw half, wasn't amazed).

Then, episode 6. Obvious 'ooooh Sawyer might die!!!!!1!!1111!!' scenes, boring flashbacks that would have been fine were this not SHANNON'S FIRST AND ONLY FLASHBACK EP, and the most contrived, painfully stupid ratings stunt of a death in the history of television.

Ana, etc were a DAY away from camp. I doubt both groups had time to just HAPPEN to bump into each other. Shannon's death had no meaning, really, she just ran into the jungle and was shot. She and Boone died within TEN friggin' episodes of each other. At least Boone's tried to make sense.

Then followed up by an episode with none of the regulars. Good, it's easy for me to skip an episode populated with characters I don't really care about.

This episode was a badly put together mess, and it (along with the rest of S2) has finally convinced me: I'm out.

(It's sad when I look at my own season and, though I hate to admit it, am more impressed with my own work than that of Lost. :( )
