Updates from the Alden!
So, lots to talk abut. I never thought I'd have anything to write about, but here goes...

Writing Stuff
So, I've recently helped pen two Slayer Academy episodes - 3x10, "Need to Know", and 3x13, "Okaasan". Haven't had much VS action lately, but I've got two scripts coming up - one for Slayer Academy, and one for The Company. Wish me luck!

TV Stuff
So, my obsessive TV watching continues, and here's my thoughts on various series...
First off, some of the ones I mentioned last time:
Rescue Me: All I watched were two episodes, and my sister tells me it doesn't get much better, so I'm giving up on this. Blech. Dropped from the roster.
Kyle XY: just finished either S2 or hit the mid-S2 break, as I'm not sure whether the hiatus ends the season or breaks it up. Either way, it's definitely found its groove. Love all of the characters, though scenes in the latest episode with the Tragers felt off majorly. I saw a lot of potential until I actually saw the scenes. Jessi, strangely enough, is a potentially favourite - layered, deep, confused. She's very complex emotionally, and I really hope we see her again.
Haven't watched Xena in a while, Hidden Palsm got axed, Robson Arms still sitting on the shelf for Round 2, and Alias waiting for the new Fall Season to end and for me to have some free TV time.
As for the new season's pilots...
Great: Pushing Daisies, Chuck
Good: Reaper, Life
Okay: K-Ville, Back to You, Journeyman, Cane, Bionic Woman, Aliens in America, Lipstick Jungle
Bad: Private Practice
Terrible: Sarah Connor Chronicles (okay, but couldn't bother finishing it)
Unwatched: Dirty Sexy Money, Big Bang Theory, Cavemen (purposely skipped this one), Cashmere Mafia, Big Shots, Moonlight, Life is Wild, Women's Murder Club, Life is Wild, Samantha Who?, Viva Laughlin, Canterbury's Law , Eli Stone, Unhitched, The Return of Jezebel James, Swingtown, New Amsterdam, Eight Days a Week, Miss/Guided
And older shows retuning...
Heroes 2x01: Quite good, a little scattered but did an excellent job of setting up seasonal arcs (Hero sickness + taking down The company, the Old generation, white Kensei, Who is Maya?, What Happened to Peter?, etc)
How I Met Your Mother 3x01: Not my favourite episode, but a good showing with some great bits and shows no sign of slowing down. Plus, a clue about the Mother in the form of a yellow umbrella.
House 4x01: Missed most of the middle of it, but really enjoyed what I saw. Might download to see the middle I missed.
Bones 3x01: Excellent, between the Booth/Bones interplay, Iraq Zack, and a very impressive season arc being set out with Hodgin's conspiracy knowledge finally coming in handy. Plus, can't wait to meet Angela's 'husband'!
