OH NOES!

YOU GUYS. I TOTALLY ACCIDENTALLY SPOILED MYSELF FOR THE WEST WING!! D: I was looking up how to spell Sam Seaborn on wiki yesterday (since he was my favourite character of the day), when I made the mistake of looking at the column next to it! The one that stated in which seasons the character is in! HIS LAST SEASON IS SEASON FOUR! D: THE ONE I'M ON ( Read more... )

fail, the west wing

I realize there are people out there with real problems

People like Mark Sloan, for example. Remember him? ;D

(Really I have nothing to say, I just wanted to say "hi" in more words . . . )

I don't know, man. Ever since I started watching The West Wing, I've forgotten about all my regular TV shows: HIMYM, Glee, SVU, 30 Rock, Grey's O_O You should give it a try! I'm pretty sure you'd like it =) It's witty, and smart, and entertaining, and just really damn addictive!

And, HI! :) How's life going for you?

You know, I've thought about watching it. Especially recently. So many people whose opinions I respect love it. Maybe I will.

(It might have to wait until I've finished watching Lost from scratch, though. After the series finale next Sunday. I marathoned Season 1 - 4 during the hiatus between S4 and S5 and now I want to go through it all again with hindsight and obsess over foreshadowing and symbolism and shit! I've liked Lost since I started with it. Now I totally love it. I admire those who write fic for it: I would have no idea where to start!)

Life is going beautifully, actually! I'm having a lazy day Meredith-drabbling, about to go running, contemplating baking a yam later, and giving Lexie cracky prompts (*points to icon*).

I actually wanted to ask you about your icon. That's Chyler? Doesn't look like her to me at all.

OH, MAN. This post makes me so happy and sad at the same time. Happy because you are now watching my ultimate show (and by ultimate I do mean *ultimate* it will never be replaced) and sad, because Sam Seaborn is my favorite fictional character ever and when he left a part of me honestly did leave with him.

That said -- you have to finish. I kind of disliked the seasons after season four (Sorkin left too and it kind of lost a bit of it's flair) but it was still better than most of the other crap on TV.

Sam and Josh are usually neck in neck for favourite character, but lately it's been All About Sam in my head for the last season (Donna is always the runner up to these two!) :D I can totally understand why he's your favourite fictional character ever! HE'S TOO AWESOME.

Yeah, I heard S5 & S6 dragged a bit =/ I'm about half way through season four now, with Sam just being gone, and I miss him so much already =(

Just...go with it. And watch Season 4 on because...well, some of it has its merits.

This should teach you not to play on Wikipedia when trying to avoid spoilers, am I right ;)

Oh God, YES. I recall you writing a similar post for another show (except maybe less dramatic, lol)? I've definitely learned my lesson though! Sooooo not poking that site with a 2-mile pole O_O

Oh yeah, I've done that (though that show was based on real people so...it's hard not to get spoiled, even when the episode hasn't aired yet, you know what I mean?).

I think I do, lol. Regardless, I'm sure it's just as horrible!

The good news is Sam's departure isn't tragic. He's still alive and well. It's just sad for the audience.

Better news: He comes back at the end of the show.

The best news: I'm not gonna spoil you anymore.

Yes, he's running for Congress =( I hate all the other characters for supporting him >_> Okay, not really, but that is not an episode I'll be watching again any time soon! I just wish it hadn't been so abrupt...

Yeah, the abruptness was crazy. I can't remember why it happened that way any more. Something about a pilot perhaps? I wish I could tell you.

Yep, that's what happened (because I couldn't resist reading more once I got over my shock of him leaving)! Then the pilot tanked.
