Okay, I admit Grey's brought. it. on. If only every episode could like that. Although, I'm kinda disappointed by the Mark/Lexie/Alex thing, but that's not exactly set in stone, so we'll see next season, I guess.
Just one thing that bothered me: When Ron (the crazy old guy) got hit in the shoulder by the SWAT dude, shouldn't that have been a head shot? I thought they were supposed to shoot to kill in a situation like this? I probably sound pretty anal, but this bugs me like no other!! Oh, and how was that chick with Bailey able to hold her breath for so long?? I realize this is TV Land, but that was a good two minutes!
Chandra Wilson was amazing (like she usually is). Gave me chills watching her trying to say she's not a surgeon. In fact, everyone's "God, no! Please, don't!" right before they got shot, had me sufficiently spooked. Derek's half-crying was well done, I thought. I'm not really a Patrick Dempsey fan (Enchanted and Made of Honor? Excuse my while I gouge my eyes out), but that scene on the bridge had me impressed. Of course, Ellen Pompeo and Sandra Oh knocked it out the ballpark, as well. The cast, in general, all kicked it up a notch in the finale; even the guy who plays Percy. Regardless of whether you liked it or not, I don't think you can't say it wasn't a well-written, and well-executed (no pun intended) episode.
Nice way to round off the season.
30 Rock hasn't gone online yet, so no thoughts as of yet. HOWEVER, I have one episode left to watch for The West Wing ='( That one episode where it had none of the original cast was a snoozefest. I actually skipped a couple minutes of it =/ But, I loved (LOVED) having Sam Seaborn back for the one ep, and I LOVED the throwback to the first time Josh recruited him (although, why the hell wasn't he at Leo's funeral?). Speaking of Josh.....Donna/Josh?? OMG. I freaking love the writers of the show for giving them to us! And, I love that for the last third of the season, they seemed to be trying to pack in all the sex and Josh/Donna moments they could! THESE WRITERS KNOW HOW TO PLEASE THE FANS ♥ Law & Order: SVU, please take notes. I'm saving the series finale for another day, when I have fresh eyes. For now, still waiting for 30 Rock to go up, and have a few weeks of Glee to catch up on.
