I love smoking!Mark too! I remembered having a convo with you and CP about all the things Mark could pick up during the Crossover and someone mentioned his scruff (too stressed to shave!) among other things (tattoo, smoking, piercing), so I just had to include it :D

Aw, thanks ^^ I wasn't sure how the M/L shippers were going to take it, since Addison isn't exactly the most popular character with us/them. It's great you don't seem bothered by the M/A aspect! =D I'm glad you liked the update! The next part will be up in the evening, I think.

By the way, I keep meaning to say thank you for following the fic. You're the only outside traffic that's commenting, and I'm sure it's safe to say that all the writers that are a part of this, really appreciate it =) So, thank you!

This is AWESOME. Such gorgeous, pathological, sexy, dual-shipping, fucked up, well written, in character superbness.

Can I just quote this? “I wanted to thank you,” he says quietly, “for flying out on such short notice.” It might be me reading in too much (but I don't think so), but I think I've rarely read (heard in my head) such an apparently innocent line spoken so beautifully sleazily.

And, oh, the angst! And the smoking! *sighs*

Well, it's all thanks to YOU for setting the tone for how Mark feels about Addison/Lexie so beautifully! =D This scene was in the works as soon as I read the line about Mark enjoying Addison's voice a little too much.

It's funny you should choose that line - it's the first thing that popped into my head about this scene :D I'm glad you liked it. And I'm SO happy you enjoyed the rest as well!
