Get there early. Both times I've been there since the McQueen retrospective opened, the wait time for it was an hour.

Thank you for the heads up. I will certainly plan to be early. I'm really looking forward to spending a day at the Met. If I can get through the waiting for standby at the airport though, an hour won't seem too bad.

Just recollected how I once queued for an hour to get a hot dog and duck fat fries. When I want something badly enough, I can be very patient.
