I have a question for you guys about Fanfiction . net -- when readers respond to your stories, is the Respond to Reviewer URL link working? Mine doesn't work anymore. I like responding to reviewers and it annoys me that I can't.

Boo, what a pain! Is it the link in the notification e-mail that isn't working, or is the "reply to review" function at FFN also broken? I admire your friendliness and responsiveness- I stopped replying to reviews at the Pit ages ago because I am old and grouchy.

Oh! And SQUEEEEE for new chapter!!! :D

It's the reply in the email. The function at FFN still works but it does a PM instead.

I just couldn't figure out if it was just me or all of FFN.

I just tried to reply to a review using the URL in the notification e-mail, and mine doesn't work, either. It's pretty lame if they're only doing private responses now. If a person can comment publicly, the author should be able to respond publicly.

It seems to me that it's been private reply for a year or two now. (And yes, it is lame, which is why I don't bother posting there anymore.)

Thanks guys. Granted, it's annoying that FFN is broken again, but it makes me feel better that it's not just me.

Just going through my emails and saw a Potter Place post from a Caeria asking for an ER person. If that's you and you still need someone, just holler. I'm a nurse.

If you've got it covered or if it isn't you, I'll just squee that I'm happy about an upcoming new chapter!

It was me. But a very nice person who worked an ER answered my questions for me. However, when we get to that section of the story, I'll sure you'll recognize why I asked for professional assistance.

Weird. I remember when they stopped making the writer responses public, I was a little sad as one of the authors I followed had very witty responses to reviews.

Have you talked to FF.nets support?

Yeah, I sent a message to FFN. I just wanted to know if others were having the same issue before I sent in error. Grr.

Unfortunately i am not a writer so i can't help with the Respond to reviewer link question..
Major squeee for the polishing touches to the next chapter!!
I have already started refreshing fanfiction like a mad woman!!
And while waiting i am re-reading your brilliant story!!!
Please don't keep us waiting for long!!
