And on with the grades:

Plot:Bond learns of a gold smuggling operation and it is his charge to find out what is at the heart of the plan. He tricks Goldfinger into losing at cards by seducing and nailing Goldfinger's helper and then manages to get under Goldfinger's skin at several points in the film including suckering him in golf. Bond manages to trace Goldfinger to a warehouse in Geneva where the gold is being melted down and gets caught again with the ultimate line, "Do you expect me to talk.... No Mr. Bond, I expect you to die" while meeting the sister of the girl he already nailed and saw killed with gold paint. Bond makes him think he knows more than he does and Goldfinger keeps him around. While his captive on a plane he meets Pussy Galore and when they land he discovers the plan. Goldfinger intends to kill the soldiers of Fort Knox with Delta-9 nerve gas, and then (supposedly) steal the depository's gold; at lecture's end, a henchman gasses the gangsters. Goldfinger tells Bond he does not intend to remove the gold, but instead plans to raid the depository long enough to place a dirty (Cobalt-Iodine) atomic bomb, supplied by the Red Chinese government, to irradiate the U.S.'s gold supply, rendering it useless for fifty-eight years, multiplying the value of Goldfinger's gold supply at least ten-fold. The ultimate purpose of this Communist plot is disrupting the economy of the Western world. In the end Bond gets Pussy to help foil the plan, he kills Oddjob, diffuses the bomb, saves the day, and then ejects Goldfinger out of the window of a plane.
scores are 4-5-4-5 = 18/20

Main Villain: Loves to cheat, smart enough to keep his enemies closer than his "friends", has a genius plan to make himself rich beyond compare using awesomely clever tactics. Also a more portly fellow so that makes him likeable even as a villain. Only lacks in the badass realm because his only real time for direct conflict leads much to be desired.
scores are 9-6 = 15/20

Females: Bond nails the first woman he sees, she later gets fully painted in gold and dies. Her sister "helps" Bond in Switzerland and she gets nailed to. Then there is Pussy Galore who has the best name ever. She leads a fighter squadron of women pilots and helps Bond foil the evil plan. Oh and she gets nailed to.
scores are 5-3-4-5 = 17/20

Henchmen: Really its Pussy and Oddjob. Pussy Gets diffused and while Oddjob is cool he is not vital to alot of the film. He really is only there for scare tactic purposes and while brutishly strong, he dies rather crappily in my honest opinion.
score is 8/10

Gadgets: Homing device, Oddjob's hat, car extentions are cool. Bond's coolest thing to me is the wetsuit that doesn;t allow his tux to get wet.
scores a 6 lack of quality gadgets

Location: I love Fort Knox, and from Switzerland and Washington to the golf club in England and resort in Miami this movie gets a 5/5

Theme Song: so freaking catchy. 5/5

Overall Bond: Connery is young, clever, seductive, ingenious, resourceful, and extremely witty.
scores a perfect 10.

overall score is 85/100 for a very good B.

Plot: Bond goes to North Korea to foil an arms deal with a man named Colonel Moon who gets apparently killed after falling over a waterfall, and Bond is captured by the North Korean military, where he is tortured for fourteen months. Disavowed by his superiors upon his release, and his status as Double-0 Agent suspended by M, Bond sets out to find the mole on his own. Uncovering evidence that overtakes his personal vendetta, M restores his Double-0 status and offers MI6 assistance to help him uncover what he's found. After receiving equipment from Q, he sets out to where this evidence would lead. His search eventually leads to billionaire businessman Gustav Graves, who is actually Colonel Moon surgically altered via gene therapy. The scheme involves the construction of Icarus, an orbital mirror system made of diamonds that will supposedly focus solar energy on a small area to light the Arctic nights and provide year-round sunshine for crop development. In truth, the orbital mirror system is actually a superweapon. It is first used to clear a path through the minefield in the demilitarized zone that separates North Korea from South Korea. North Korea would be able to invade South Korea, Japan, and other surrounding nations. Icarus would also be used to defend North Korea while it invades, by destroying any ballistic missile or nuclear warhead fired on North Korea or their troops, thus foiling any large scale retaliation from their enemies. Bond, with the aid of NSA agent Jinx (played by Halle Berry), defeats Gustav Graves. Frost, Graves' assistant, who is purportedly working for MI6, is eventually revealed to be the mole within the agency.
scores are 5-4-4-4 = 17/20

Main Villain: Lots of interaction. He is cruel and ruthless, does his own dirty work sometimes. Plan is purely nationalistic it seems and adapted for revenge against all North Korean enemies.
scores are 8-9 = 17/20

Females: Berry is too fine all be it not to believable in my opinion. Bond gets her in the sack twice. Bond also gets to Frost who as her name implies, has held off multiple advances. Frost is a henchman and female but for these purposes there could have been more.
scores are 3-5-4-3 = 15/20

Henchmen: Graves has alot to his aid but most have flaws. His Samoan guy is not in the story very long and gets lasered through the head. Frost gets nuetralized by Jinx and just seems to be there for her mole capabilities, Graves main man is tough and persistant while cool and collected. No defining traits except for the main guys face which has diamonds all embedded into it.
scores are 8/10

Gadgets: Many, many, many. Car can go invisible, ring can break glass, cool small planes, cool fast cars all outfitted with weapons, GPS knife and kick ass surfboard in beginning, and a watch with a detonator built in, and a re breather. Brief appearance of some old Bond gadgets in one scene.
scores a 10/10

Locations: I like England's fencing club but North Korea seems to bland in this movie and the Iceland scenes are interesting but could have been a bit warmer.
scores a 4/5

Theme song: Madonna makes a cameo in the movie but the song sucks
scores a 2 but with bonus point for Madonna gets a 3/5

Overall Bond: Brosnan wants to be a bad ass but just isn't up to Connery's hardness and Moore's wittiness. The Suave and swagger is still there but it still lacks a punch in this movie.
scores an 8/10

Total is 82/100 for an almost B-

Plot: It all revolves around Scaramenga, a high paid assassin. He's known for using a golden gun and only needs one golden bullet per hit. Bond's mission at this time revolves around the work of a scientist named Gibson, thought to be in possession of information crucial to solving the energy crisis by creating a virtually unlimited amount of energy using a new technique of harnessing the Sun's power. Because of the perceived threat to the agent's life, M removes James from his current mission, and forces 007 to go on leave until the matter is resolved. Though officially "on leave" from his duties, Bond sets out to find Scaramanga before Scaramanga finds him. By retrieving a golden bullet used to assassinate another 'Double-0 agent' sometime previously, Agent 007 is led to the man responsible for supplying Scaramanga with his unusual golden ammunition. This leads Bond to Andrea Anders, Scaramanga's mistress. She confesses that it was she who sent the golden bullet to MI6 - to lure Bond to kill Scaramanga for her. Anders informs Bond as to where Scaramanga's plans will require him to be. Unbeknownst to Bond, that location is that of Scaramanga's next 'hit', the target of which is Gibson, the solar energy scientist from Bond's previous mission. The hit takes place in order to steal the "solex agitator" - a critical component of Gibson's solar energy device. It is now Bond's mission to retrieve the solex agitator and duel it out with Scaramanga before Scaramanga can sell the device to the highest criminal bidder or use it for his own nefarious plans.
scores a 5-4-4-5 = 18/20

Main Villain: Scaramenga is cold and cunning. Extremely cool however and is the ultimate killer. Only flaw is his vanity however and it leads to his death. But his third nipple is sweet and the man is extremely well connected and vanity proves to be as good a central plot as any.
scores an 8-8 = 16/20

Females: Although the main female is very sexy and has a great character, the other one is so damn annoying she has to take away some points.
scores a 3-4-4-4

Henchman: Scaramenga's midget Nick Nack is one of the coolest side villains ever...Ever.
scores a perfect 10/10

Gadgets: Besides the fucking car/plane, there is a fake nipple, and the gun itself is three parts all of which are awesome. Lot alot of quantity but each are so awesome that the quality is through the roof.
scores a 10/10

Locations: Mostly Asian but the exotics are very good. Karate dojos to hidden islands to temples and canals alike.
scores a 5/5

Theme song: Once again one of the coolest. Lots of different verses all ending with the title.
scores a 5/5

Overall Bond: Moore is in top form, his second movie and second best performance overall in my opinion. Extremely diligent with the plot unfolding and very resourceful. Coyness also a plus as he deals with every new problem in stride and cunning.
scores a 9/10 for a small lack of physical toughness but gets a bonus point for his sheer mental prowess and wit at getting to the heart of the villain more ways than one.
scores a 10/10

Totals an 89/100 For a B+

So so far here are the grades:
Diamonds are forever 89/100
Man with the Golden Gun 89/100
Goldfinger 85/100
Die Another Day 82/100

I will do Thunderball tonight after my job interview and hopefully another movie if I can get to it. Maybe I'll try a Dalton movie.
