Happy new year everyone. I've been woefully negligent of my LJ. If I'm still in your reading queue (of you happened by anyways) thanks for that.

What's topical? This LJ has been a clearing house of thoughts about the GSL and legalities in its wake. So let's talk about Wizards of the Coast licensing for a second.

It's odd, but even though we are still playing 3.5 and starting yet another campaign I can't think of anything I'm really looking to buy for it. I almost feel like the 1e guys when 2e came out and they never looked back or needed anything new for their games.

It appears that Fantasy Flight Games has also pulled it's d20 books off the digital shelves. I hope the Dawnforge and Midnight books will make a return with the d20 logo filed off but I'm not holding my breath. :(

We (Expeditious Retreat Press) have switched everything to OGL so none of our products we be unavailable due the d20 system logo cancellation.
