I still think they should find a way to genetically engineer trees that produce luciferin. Can you imagine how much money that could save? no more need for streetlights, could reduce associated pollution, and beyond that, it would just serve to make our concrete jungle green again, neh? carry around a little cactus, not a flashlight.
