So I've been missing LJ and the friends here. Life has been super busy though so it's hard to keep up. Also it seems like a lot of my fandom left. Like my old school Yahoo groups / Geocities folks. I know a few of you are still here so I'm hoping to catch you sometimes as I try to post more and read more.
Now. How are you doing out there?

I'm good. New job, new place but not so new anymore. I'm liking the desert life for the most part. I really wish I could sit down long enough to write. I'm up late now for me. Gotta rise from my coffin at 4am.

I miss you too! I knew the new job would be crazy busy and that made life crazy busy so I understood.

I'm having confused thoughts about pickamix recent death. So many people knew her so well and I barely did, but we were working on something and we talked a bit and I really thought she was getting better so...

Other stuff is okay - but I do want more stories from you...that part is not okay. :)

I dont think I knew pickamix (unless she used a different username before) I've been out of it so long. I am sorry though. I assume she was ill?

I want more stories too. Finding time to write hasnt been easy, but I have not given up hope. I will finish few of the old old ones and a some of the later ones too.

We need to meet up for food and fun halfway between Phoenix and Tucson. Name the date! (except 12/13, gotta party to attend)

I so much wish I could. You can come to Tucson....

My older daughter had the baby, discovered she needed surgery and had her husband leave her all in Ocotber. So we went from 2 people to 6. She's still on maternity leave, and the surgery is this week. But for now - zero money and lousy car.

Sorry that your daughters having it rough. Mine is having a different rough. Here to hoping they both get some good luck soon.

My car is only semi-lousy (I'm covering her little car ears) so I can make the trip.

What? Congrats dearest!! on both fronts. Home ownership is a major feat these days. And so happy for you getting all hitched! Did you post pics?

We found a really great deal in the neighborhood that we're already living in so it felt like a no brainer to make an offer. We just moved in all the big stuff this past weekend and we're getting a new furniture set for the living room sometime around the holidays.

I don't have pics of the house yet, but do have pics from the wedding:
