Hazel eyes dazed out the window as the history teacher went on about some subject or another. The Edo Era most likely. His head slipped off hand which had been supporting it, causing him to jump and straighten before relaxing into the exact same pose he had been holding before.
His mind wandered to the picture Kanra had shared from the night before. Eyes closed, he envisioned it perfectly in his mind. Short, but not too short blond hair. Goofy smile. The only thing that through it all off was the clips in her hair and the dress supporting her figure. Otherwise, she was the spitting image of the friend he hadn't seen in months. It made his heart ache a little, knowing he was out there, but knowing he wouldn't return any phone calls or messages. What happened to that friendship they once had?
Mikado dropped his head into his arms as the lecture continued, making it appear as if he had fallen asleep. He was tired enough that he probably could have.

Kida heaved out a sigh as the day had finally come to an end, leaning against a wall close to the changing room but holding off on going inside. If he changed with them, then it would become immediately evident that he wasn't a girl so, instead, he hung around the kitchen staff for awhile, getting a feel for what kind of work they had to do as they cleaned up for the night. Nothing heavy from the sounds of it. Constantly preparing fresh tea, German styled bread, cakes and soups. They also doubled as the janitorial staff, cleaning the cafe after closing, from front to back. He thanked them for all their hard work as he slipped off to the bathroom to change into his regular clothes. He waited awhile, folding the dress up in his arm, stuffing the accessories into his pocket before sneaking out of the cafe unnoticed.
It felt good to be free for the evening. Strange to know that this job was just part of a bigger job. He wondered if this was sort of like what 'spies' had to do. Undercover investigation! Kida walked about like he was a secret spy, gun in hand, going to take down his target. "You can't escape now, Mister Bond!"
The dress rustled from its spot in the crook of his arm, Kida stopped playing make pretend. Immediately he knew what he had to do.

"Izaya-san!" The door opened after he made his way up to the proper floor, "What the hell is this!?"
Namie glanced up from her present work, setting it aside temporarily to get up and make a pot of tea. Izaya turned his head in the direction of the blond, "Masaomi-kun, I would prefer it if you didn't raise your voice in a place of business and work."
He threw the dress, which was followed by all of its accessories, at the mockery of a man located behind his desk. The dress made it, though was hardly damaging. The kitty ears, and collar fell short. Luckily, the shoes made up for such loses by smacking the informant squarely in the face. "Bastard! You knew this whole time!"
Izaya rubbed his face on the spot where the shoe had made contact. Nothing compared to the damage Shizuo managed from time to time. "Masaomi-kun, you're voice, please."
"Schatz Kiste doesn't have yellow maid outfits. They don't even have catgirls!"
"It was a test," Izaya stated, casting the dress off to the side now, "Your uniform came in today while you were at work."
"Then why didn't you come give it to me?"
"Because I was busy."
Kida was hardly satisfied with that answer but decided to drop the conversation there, moving across the floor to pick up the scattered pieces of the yellow maid outfit.
