Awww. TRC never been my favorite (mostly because the princess always kind of remind me of Digimon's Hikari and I never trusted nor liked Hikari) but I do love Fai and Kurogane and I've always thought they were a good couple to play with.

I never thought of it, but Sakura and Hikaru do have some similarities, though I think Sakura is more...energetic, I guess? I'm fairly ambivalent about Hikari but I love Sakura to bits, so I dunno. I'm mostly here for the KuroFai anyway, heh :P

Wow! I don't know what expectations could have been attached to the prompt, but I don't think anyone could have expected a piece of work like this.

The whole world they were in felt like a dream, with the other people in the line whose faces you can't see and the not-quite-human figures with no eyes or mouth in their masks. And the lines on the ground which are words, which are sounds, which get inside you and suffocate you and entrap you. Really eerie, I could almost hear the chiming sound like a soundtrack to this whole story. The silence inside the coach at the end really was a blessed relief, and the perfect ending to this story.

You really haven't lost your touch. Filing this away in favorites with your others...

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it :) I was a little worried writing it because it kept wandering away from me, but I'm really happy with how well it turned out. The prompt was lots of fun to play with ^_^

That world was seriously something right out of Mindfuck Central, and I loved it. It was amazingly described and the feel of the place so captivating and terrifying all at once. And Kuro and Fai are the adorablest thing that ever adorabled. Oh lord. Amazing work.
