My life was absolutely out of control for about five weeks, and now I find myself home, alone, sitting on the couch, wasting time on purpose to make up for all my recent productivity.
I would like to have a good, old-fashioned concert followed by pie, giggling, a bitch session, possibly some crying, a really bad movie to make us giggle again, and then an hour of sleep before coffee and most likely, more pie.
Completely unrelated, but last night William was the closest to drunk I have ever seen him--so not really drunk, just past buzzed--and it was HILARIOUS! I think William, Matt, and Jake should all be drunk together and us girls should sit back, watch, enjoy the ride, and keep them from breaking too much stuff. Teehee!
He said, eyes wide and hands out in front of him, "Every time I move my head, the room...surprises me..."
Matt was so embarrassed by his last drunken incident that we'll probably have to force the alcohol down his throat with a funnel or something. Not that I'm saying we shouldn't go through with your plan. Because we should.
i guess the bright side is, at least she's getting a lot of life experience from this. i mean, it may not be the best life experience to get, but i think any life experience can be good and character-building. she's gotta be some kind of brave to be able to run out into the world like that, fuck the consequences, without the support of the people who love her. ya know?
It's ok. I'm just glad she's safe. I'd rather have her be angry and destructive in rehab than on the street, for sure.
I agree about the experience thing. I really hope that one day she will be clean and strong enough to be a mentor or work in rehab-type situations (and somehow include animals in that job?) so she can be that Really Bad Example that people never listen to until they've gone too far. Maybe she can train therapy dogs and take them to treatment facilities and AA meetings! Wahoo!
