Aw, I bet :D Is she being a good baby and letting mommy and daddy sleep through the night?
Haha, I feel the same way about buying a 30cm-ranged doll and it not be a LTF. I just know I love the LTF posey-ness too much to ever go to some other type of doll! What can I say, Fairyland just makes a good doll...
No luck sleeping through the night yet... but last night I did get over two hours in one stretch, which I think is the longest yet! She's nursing so she needs to eat pretty often, but otherwise she's a very, very good baby.
I don't think that every doll I ever have from now on will have to be a Fairyland doll- even though most of my wishlist is. ^^;; It's just that Bobobie's posing is SO far off. I can't get her elbows to stay bent unless I hook her hand on something, and she will stand or sit alone only in VERY stiff poses. Sometimes not at all. I'll never have another BJD that isn't double jointed, except for maybe another Lati Yellow or two. Issie isn't double jointed but she stands like a rock and her arms stay bent.
Two hours is totally solid for a newborn. That's a solid nap for her parents :) I saw you extolling your love for the Boppy on Twitter. My friend's baby LOVED to sleep on hers, and whenever she'd fuss and couldn't get back to sleep-BAM, Boppy, out in 10.
I mean, there are some pretty good posers out there...but you definitely get spoiled with a Fairyland doll, especially if they're one of your first ones. I agree, double jointed is the only way to go. I do grant Lati Yellows an exemption (obviously). But I think their lack of jointing is part of their aesthetic, which I totally love :)
