I took a few photos for a contest on the RequiemArt forums, and found a moment to snap a couple photos of Mehka while the camera was out. I totally exploited the baby for the photo contest, where the theme is "Cozy". It's Mikayla's first internet appearance outside Facebook. These are the 'rejects' from the mini shoot, slightly blurry but cute.

She's not much on smiling yet, she's normally too focused on things, so I was pleased to catch her in the act!

I'm going to try doing Mehka's face myself, I've done it once already and removed it. I didn't absolutely hate it the first time, so I think I can do it... I just have to find the time!

She's a pretty happy baby, outside of the times she is a bit colicky, and always very alert. I'm just a wee bit proud of her. :)
