Good times (finally)!

I got to go clothes shopping today, because since I had a baby I am fat. :P Okay not really fat, but some of my tighter clothes just don't fit the way they used to. The best part about the clothes shopping is that I didn't have to pay for any of it- my mom took me as the last of my Christmas gifts. Getting new stuff puts me in such a good mood!

Yes, it's great to have things to look forward to, and a little less stress. :)

Yay! I'm so excited that you're excited, my Mini!Shimiko has been sitting here by my chair reading over my shoulder about all the plans I've been making for her, I think she's excited, too. lol

And the road-trip sounds fun! I actually have relatives in Kansas City that I've never met because they're Jim's side of the family. Someday I hope we make it there to see them ^__^;;

LOL, well I hope I live up to her expectations!

We try to get up to Kansas City at least once a year, Micah has a good bit of family up there... although really we only ever visit his grandparents, and sometimes his sister. We don't talk to his extended family much. ^^;;

First of all, that fog was so INTENSE!! I could barely see 30 feet in front of me.

Haha, I'm glad I (and my dollies) can bring you so much enjoyment. Hey, if you turn out liking this sewing-for-other people thing, do I see an etsy shop in your future (when the bebe is older, of course)?

Have fun on your mini-vacation! I have to chuckle, though, because since my brother goes to school in KC, my parents have made the Kansas City "day trip" several times (from my house in St. Peters, it's about 3 hours as well).

Yes, it was awful. I'm glad it has finally burned off, I haven't seen fog that bad in ages!

I had an etsy shop for a while, I shut it down for a while near the end of my pregnancy. I didn't have a lot of success selling for Pullips or Minis, though. I might re-open it if I can build up a stock of Lati and Puki clothes.

Micah and I have made day trips to KC in the past when it was just the two of us, but things change a lot when you have to haul a baby along. We used to not think twice about getting home at midnight or later after having dinner with an old friend, now Mikayla needs to be in bed by ten. :)

Haha, my roommate's Facbook status this morning was: "Sarah thinks it must be about time for the zombie take over. It's been super foggy for like a week. She's played enough horror games to know something is going down."

Lati and Puki clothes sell well, that's for sure. As long as they're well-made and reasonably priced, of course. I hesitate to spend over a certain amount for a doll that's only THAT big, you know?

Well, I'd say a baby is a good as reason as any to have a bit of a mini-vacay :D Have fun!

I'm not too worried. I've read the zombie survival guide, we're prepared. ;)

I don't like over-spending for my itty bitty dolls either. That's part of why I like being able to make my own clothes. The materials for each outfit cost next to nothing, it just takes time.
