Overwhelmed? Not the half of it.

I have been totally AWOL, I know. I have a difficult child. I love her to pieces and she loves me back, she has the most beautiful smile and everything I do is completely worthwhile. But that doesn't mean it's easy. Mikayla has dramatic mood swings and does not self entertain, and until the last few days she wouldn't nap, either. Even now the naps ( Read more... )

Sorry to hear you're having a rough go of things, but that little cutie is totally worth it. :) That picture is adorable!

I'd love to adopt Lumi, but Josh would shoot me. :3

She is! As tired as I am, I wouldn't trade her for anything. I'm even crazy-in-love enough that I'm talking about having another one- not yet, but a few years down the road.

I would find that really amusing, since I bought her from you in the first place. I don't know what Micah would do if I bought back a doll I sold, lol.

OMG how cute is she!! D'aww..! LOL! etc. etc. *totally smitten*

I can totally empathize with the feeling of being "chained" with a child to care for; I just sent my own two off to my parents on Sunday, and I honestly can't say I've missed them much - yet. ;) I know they are safe and enjoying themselves and have no need to worry, and then I don't. My partner is working way way too much, which means I am the one waking the kids up, making them breakfast, making their school lunches, picking them up from after school care when I'm off work for the day, helping them with the homework, helping them with anything they need fixed or explained, and then finally making supper, brushing their teeth and putting them to bed. Pretty much 24/7 with the exeption of the hours when I'm at work. All I can say is enjoy those nights "off", I know I do! ;)

How much are you looking to get for little Lumi? I am thinking of getting a doll that size - a Pukifee or Mui-chan are most possibly my primary choices, but Lumi is too cute...

That's the other problem I have- Micah is a full-time student and a full-time worker. I'm able to stay home thanks to him so at least I don't have the strain of a job on top of the childcare, but most days I'm in charge of Mikayla all day long. She also can't be babysat yet, since I'm nursing and she refuses bottles.

As for Lumi, I'd probably be looking to get what I paid for her, which is $350 before shipping. She comes with all the extra hands, a couple pairs of extra eyes (provided I haven't lost those when I moved), several outfits and shoes. She is not as poseable as a Pukifee but she's extremely sturdy and stands better than any other BJD I own. I do kind of hate to give her up, but I haven't played with her as of late and I'm really trying to get down to basics.

I love my little zilla more than life itself but she can be a handful.

Depending on how much of a hurry you are in to get rid of the Papin she may make a nice addition to the rainbow mafia.

I'm still sitting on the Papin as I'm pretty fond of her, but if I make up my mind I'll let you know first.

Nice to see you around again! I missed you! But I totally understand that the little munchkin can be quite a handful. But hopefully her difficult babyhood means she'll be an angelic child? Let's go with that :)

Eeep! Dress=love! I love the headband, too. As for the fit of the dress, I'm fine with it. I think the off the shoulder look is cute! My Latis can make it work :) Send me a PM and we can discuss payment?

Mikayla's face in that picture totally made my day :)

I'm hoping so! Part of the difficulty is that she's a very smart and attentive baby, so she's certain to be a rewarding child. It will just take time.

I'll send you a PM shortly! Glad you like it, and sorry it took so long.
