Right, so, I am moving in a week and am just realizing exactly how much crap I have to do yet, plus the regular weekly survival crap. Hence, list.

You're moving again? I thought you'd already moved once this year?

I moved last year. Everyone has been trying to convince me to move, but I let my lease run out (it does at the end of the month) and I'm moving back in with my parents at least until their lease runs out next year.

No, it's rather a step down, and not a voluntary move. My current apartment was sold and the new owner gave me notice to end tenancy so he can move in, all within the law, so I've been scrambling to find any apartment at all for the past month or so. The rental market here is utter lunacy.

The place I am moving into is about 75% the size of my current place, and is 32% more rent per month. It's also in a worse part of town and increases the rent annually. It's all I could find that was feasible though, so it is what it is.

On the up side, it's near a park with lots of trees.

Yeah, an uptick would be great, wouldn't it? I hope one comes along for you soon. :-)
