underneath that copy and paste your story and highlight it and find the button that says LJ Cut and put it under a cut. It's pretty simple. After that...just cross post it.
now you're probably aslo wondering how to cross post...okay you know when you 'Update Journal'? There's a thingy that says Post to: Well it's a drop down thingy and if you click on the arrow all your communities that you've joined and are allowed to post at will show up you just choose one and post and then go back and choose another and post and yeah. b(^-^)
