Our youngest daughter has recovered really well from her operation and goes back to work in just over a week. We had our first run to A&E with our grandson... as someone pointed out, this is actually a rite of passage for little boys. Our ( Read more... )

I can agree with all boys going to A&E. Mine had to have his chin glued back together! Daughters end up there too (when they take a hard tumble on dry ski slopes!)

There was a constant procession of little boys there. LOL. Ours needed his chin stitched back together too.

Ouch! I hope your grandson is okay now.

My son seemed to start a trend, after he had his chin glued, three other kids in his class had to go to hospital for the exact same thing!

Yes, he's fine though I'm guessing he's always going to have a scar on his chin now. the worst bit for him was having the stitches taken out... you know how it can pull.

Gawd... boys are scary aren't they. I think they just go crazy in the playground.

I´m glad to hear that all went well with your daughter and that she´s returning to regular life soon. From the way you phrased things, it seems that all was well in the end with your grandson, so I´m glad about that too.

I´m curious. What does A&E stand for? I get from context that it means Emergency Room (or ER for short...). In Canada, A&E stands for Arts and Entertainment Channel on television!

Thank you. Yes, all was well with our grandson, he had to have five stitches but they're out and now he's fine.

It would be nicer if it was Arts and Entertainment. LOL. But no... it's Accident and Emergency.
