It's time I was in bed but I saw this A to Z thing on a blog in a galaxy far far away and just *had* to sit here obsessively filling in the letters with random *stuff* for the start of May.

What a nice thing! I might pinch it myself. Cherryh is my favourite author (and gave me some useful advice once- lovely person.) And rhubarb- I might buy some today (since Spouse dug up mine by mistake). I must read some Jo Walton; I'm going to the library today so will see if they have any.

I haven't read much C.J. Cherryh but she's one of Jo Walton's favourite authors so I thought I would have a read of the one book I have by her on my tbr mountain. It's an omnibus edition with Cuckoo's Egg and Serpent's Reach in it.

Hope you have some luck with Jo Walton at the library. She seems to be one of those author's not that well known here. Even though she's Welsh I think because she lives in Canada her books are better known over there. I'm after Tooth and Claw next, but may well have to buy it.

Devon libraries just has the eReader version, which as I own a Nook I could easily borrow (Kindle is not included in the list of eReaders the library uses). But I made an executive decision *g* and ordered a real copy from AM for 1p plus postage. Happy camper.

I haven't seen any other versions but my daughter likes the Aussie one. I can't imagine MC with anyone other than John and Gregg. :-)
