Bits...

I see I haven't posted anything here for over a month. Basically that's because it's been a really quiet few weeks with not much going on. The one memorable bit... though not for a good reason... was tripping over in the back yard, falling flat on my face, and ending up in A&E. Nothing broken but my face was a mess and I was quite shaken up. It ( Read more... )

It's long than that. We've been up here for nine years and we hadn't been to Somerset for several years prior to that.

Wow! Where does time go to?

We're really looking forward to seeing you & P again.

Ah right. Well we've been here almost twelve years so you must have visited us not long after we moved in. Gosh, where *does* the time go? Scary!

And we can't wait to see you and P again. :-D

*Hugs you back*

I'm glad you are slowly recovering from your fall. How a small loss of balance can cause such damage. Have a lovely time in the uniquely beautiful Scotland.

Thank you! For me it was a moment's inattention to where I was walking. So stupid.

Thank you. I can't wait to be honest.

Thanks, P. Just not looking where I was walking and suddenly found myself sprawled on the ground. My face healed in a week but my neck and shoulders are taking much longer.

I'm pretty sure we'll love Scotland too. :-)

Oh, C., how awful that you fell on your face!

Worse than falling flat on your back, although that's painful and messes with your skull and your back, etc., too.

I can't tell you how sorry I am to hear it, but it's great that you're recovering well and didn't break anything.

Please enjoy your upcoming travel, and be well!

Yes, not great is it? My face healed quite quickly but my neck and shoulders are taking much longer. Down to old age I suspect. Thank you.

I will, and will definitely take photos to share.

What part of Scotland are you visiting? Is it the area that your ancestors were from?

How lovely that you'll be meeting up with nakeisha too!!

Sorry to hear that your healing process is taking so long, hope it's gathering pace a bit now!

We're going to Inverness. My lot were from Aberdeen but we're not planning to go there as far as I know.

Yes visiting nakeisha. *Excited*

Thanks. It's been a damn nuisance to be honest but is at long last starting to improve.
