It has been forever since you last posted here. Several others have been less than prolific in their postings here; I think the end of Harry Potter put a lot of interest from here.

Not sure it was the end of Harry Potter but I know what you mean. Loads of my HP pals are now on FB and that's where I keep up with them.

To be honest I stopped being able to think of things to post that I thought would interest anyone. I suppose I started to feel a bit self-conscious about it all. Especially as I don't really have a fandom now and I do think of LJ as my fandom place. Reading has sort of taken over and it's noticable that I do try to keep my bookish LJ going.

LJ isn't as pressing as FB, because it isn't constantly updating, but I suppose that's why I like it. Less pressure.

So if you feel like posting to LJ, the assumption is that you wanted to, and I'm all in favor of that.

Happy New Year! May it be a better, less stressful one than 2015...

And a Happy Birthday to gilda_elise, whom I don't know, but many happy returns all the same!

I do actually prefer FB these days. It's open to small posts about anything whereas I don't feel LJ is like that. It tends to be my fandom place and as I don't have a fandom as such at the moment, LJ is getting neglected. Aside from my bookish one of course and I want to keep that going as I do actually get some nice discussions there, which don't happen quite so much on my Blogspot book blog. The way you leave a comment there is not as open to longer discussion as is LJ. It seems to me that life is full of ifs and buts. LOL!
