I've seen the messages too, some of them anyway. They look like they're everywhere.

I know we're alive but, you shouldn't lose hope. People who've died, they're always closer than you think. Besides, I've heard that the dead can sometimes appear here.

Thank you. You've been such a comfort to me since I arrived. I'll hold on to the hope that eventually they might show up, but not too firmly.

Certainly not. This place... I just don't know. Don't worry, I'm sure we're all worried about something. [Yet she doesn't sound worried about anything herself!]

It's natural to be scared in an alien environment.

I agree with you about this place. There's something not - right about it. I suppose it isn't so bad, really. Save when the monsters come out.

As long as it doesn't start thundering, I suppose I'll manage.
