Shin Sangoku Musou 6 - character comparisons (PT 2)

Warning: heavy images.

Zhou Tai

Ah, his signature scarred face/body!  That was kept (it better!).  Zhou Tai got these scars from risking his life protecting Sun Quan his 'boss', and it was said that the scars were "like a fish's scales", covering every part of his skin.  He was awarded and praised highly in front of everyone else by Sun Quan, and finished the party by (being forced to) drink his head off.

Lu Xun

...I didn't expect him to have a baby face. (Never saw the design for Musou4!Luxun before)  But I kind of LOLed at his braids.
I started fangirling over this guy after watching the New Sanguo TV series, because he's possibly smarter than Zhuge Liang (who is the symbol of wisdom and intelligence in the Chinese culture), and at a young age too!  Anyways, I approve of this design of Luxun!  As well as the older version.  The confidence of handling the responsibility of Wu's survival and the keen look are present in his eyes, I love this!

Ling Tong

At first I thought his new design was weird compared to his old one, because he looks a bit lazy in this one.  But well, I started to appreciate it, as well as his oddly layered hair.  Ling Tong's hair was shorter in the old version.
But his tear mole was kept.

Da Qiao

Somehow I don't really like the Qiao sisters... is it because they look too delicate?  But I do like their new designs/hairstyles better than the old one.  I have to say that all the girls in this new game have grown... they all look more mature now.  The hime haircut's pretty nice as well.

Full body version:

Lu Meng

He kept his stubbled chin!  Yayz~ (?)
I honestly like Lu Meng with his hair down better than in a ponytail.  And even though it's cut, it looks better.  Does he look older like this?  Maybe.  But he's still awesome.  Besides, I like older men.
Kage approves of the new Lu Meng!

His clothes look a bit too Japanese though.

Ding Feng

Yes, he does have a scary face like the description says!  Ah, I can't say much about this guy since he's a new character and he's pretty much a minor character in the state of Wu... sorry!

Full body version:

Sun Ce

I like Sun Ce like this better, as he looks more in character (impulsive and hot-blooded) with bangs covering his forehead.  Other than the hairstyle, nothing much has changed about him.  The eldest son of Sun Jian is still charismatic, and indeed very much like a young king!

Full body version:

Zhou Yu

I dislike this Zhou Yu. >__>
Really, we all know that he's a pretty boy already from Musou 4, you didn't need to exaggerate the femininity of his appearance!
His appearance was practically perfect, but this one...
Gah, at least his surgery wasn't that screwed up like Michael Jackson.

Full body version:

Taishi Ci

Hmm... there's actually not a big difference between Taishi Ci from Musou 4 and Musou 6.  Well, he does have the extra fancy helmet decoration that makes him look like a Roman legionary.  He looks quite proud of himself as a general.
Yep, this Taishi Ci is definitely better than Musou 4!

Full body version:

Sun Shangxiang

Wow, she looks very graceful here, compared to our impression of her/the Sun Shangxiang in Sanguoyanyi!  She looked a bit more tomboyish back in Musou 4.  Now, there's more of a mischievous glint in her eyes instead.  I wouldn't say I don't like this version, but here Shangxiang doesn't look like the girl she used to be.

Full body version:

Xiao Qiao

She actually looks a bit innocent for the battlefield.  But I guess you can't judge a girl by her looks, right?
Xiao Qiao looks a bit older now, but cuter as well!  I like her new hair color better than the old one.  But even if she looks older, she still looks younger than I am, which isn't true. TAT
...I love her outfit.  Serious, the shorts are too cute.

Full body version:

Sun Quan

Okay, at least he looks his older brother's age... I swear he looked so much older than Sun Ce in Musou 4!  I'm glad that they fixed it (somewhat).
Musou6!Sun Quan >>> Musou4!Sun Quan.  I can't decide who's my favorite from Wu - him, Lu Meng or Lu Xun.  Their logical and calm thinking amaze me.

Full body version:

(He looks like such an reliable person!)

Trainer

One of the few fictional characters in the game series.  Being Sun Shangxiang's servant, she's very beautiful as well.  It's just that her chest is surprisingly big...

Full body version:

Sun Jian

Even though Sun Jian looks quite a bit older in this picture, it's refreshing.  Unlike the drawing on him on the official website, the Sun Jian here is leaning more on his adventurous side, like he's looking into the sunrise or something, while Musou 4 portrayed more of his dark and territory-ambitious side.
But still, he doesn't have that much white hair yet...

Full body version:

Huang Gai

Oh, thank god he finally looks his age!  Seriously, he looks so young in Musou 4, it didn't look like he was in his sixties/seventies, which he's supposed to be.
I'm grateful of this change so that it follows logic, but Koei made him too buff.  Aww...

Full body version:

Gan Ning

Honestly, I can't quite decide which version of Gan Ning is better, Musou 4 or 6.  Well if you exclude his weird yellow lips, this version has a wilder look for him than the previous (spikey haired) version.  I have nothing to say about his tattoos because they look really cool in both pictures.
I guess Musou 6 is really giving Gan Ning the fearless and daring look, other than his original hardcore personality in Musou 4.
