Sooooooooooo AWESOME!!!
Man what an awesome night! So Chris called when he was leaving the meeting to tell me he was on his way. Then he ran to get his car and come get me. When he got to my place he called and was like "Is this Sir John of Brighton?" I laughed and said yes. And he said "Your carriage awaits." He is soooo silly. I gave him a really cute flower I bought which he thought was sweet. He told me I am adorable. :-D Then we drove down to this nice Thai restaurant. The food was awesome. We shared crab rangoon and then each had our meal. It was awesome!!! Then I paid which he thanked me for. He looked super cute all dressed up for work. And smelled awesome!!!
During dinner we talked about all kinds of random stuff. He had just had a district meeting so he was talking a bit about work. So I filled him in on things over here in CSC land. We also talked about our mutual love for Law & Order and CSI. He is also a big X-Files fan as well. So we just talked and were crazy, telling stories and what not. We always have plenty to talk about. Then we left and bumped into some friends of his outside. He was very nice and introduced me. They seemed nice. I definitely want him to spend more time with my friends. I think he'll fit in well. He is coming with me to VT on July 15th for the weekend. YAY!!! We are staying at the Doubletree. WOOT @ Hilton Points. I love free things. I can't wait for him to meet the VT crew. Plus I get him for the whole weekend. YAY!!!
So as we drove up to my place at like 9:30 I figured that would be good night as it was already getting late and it was a Wednesday afterall. But he started looking for parking and I wasn't going to complain. So after a hilarious search for parking, we got home. The place was dark and quiet, I thought everyone had gone to bed. We snuggled on the couch and watched the Sox finish off the Reds. Then Jess and Lisa came home. We chatted with them a little and at one point they thought they saw a mouse. So Chris and I went into the kitchen and he was all manly and brave. It was so cute. Then Jess and Li went to their rooms and Chris and I continued to snuggle and kiss and chat on the couch. Jess said we looked very cute. It was really awesome. He random blurted out "Man I really like you." at one point. Then I was like "I totally have to work at making you as happy as you make me." He said "Who said you don't already?" AAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!
We got to talking about sports at one point. I asked him if he liked football and he said "I'm not a huge fan like you but I like to watch it." So I was like Do you know what's going on? Yes. Do you know what a screen is? Yes. A cover 2? Yes. Oh man that's kind of HOT. HAHAHA!!!
So we discussed possible plans for the weekend and such. Nothing in stone, just a general we need to spend time together. He takes off a week from Sunday to spend a week in Georgia for training. ARGH! The day after I get my new bed :-( But I offered to give him a ride to the airport or to pick him up when he gets back. He was like "I have to get to the airport early. If I stay over that could totally work." YAY!!!
So here I am at work today floating just above my chair. I can't handle it. I am so super happy. He is the perfect fit for my life right now. He makes me smile, says and does things to make me feel special and is laid back about the whole thing. It is the perfect no pressure happiness. With everything else in life being so good this is truly the cherry on top. Can you hear the smile? Probably. :-D
