Some fun and sad things in my life recently.

Dead Monkey:
Greasemonkey, the amazing firefox extension that allows me to manipulate all web content, has been found to have a serious security flaw. So for the time being it is not running on any of my machines. Some web pages just don't look the same. They are all annoying like now with their full content. Grrr!

Feeling Hot Hot Hot:
Boston is freaking HOT. My house is freaking HOT. And this morning my office is freaking HOT. Where in the Christ is the A/C? I don't know. But I am sad. Hopefully this weather breaks. Hopefully my personal A/C from thinkgeek shows up today.

Gateway to the South:
I am going to Louisville, Kentucky next week. Just got told yesterday. Odd. My bosses are going so they've decided I should go too. I mean these people down there are the clients I am working for afterall. Meh. Should break up the monotony and means I don't have to pay for food or cook for a week. YAY!

Exhausted:
Still exhausted. Trying to get more sleep and it isn't helping. I need to do something about this. It is making it impossible for me to get work done, impossible to work out and making me cranky. I hate everyone right now. I wonder what is causing it. Hmmm... Maybe I'm dying. That would be unfortunate. One of these days I'll have my crap together enough to make an appt. with my doctor. Maybe.

Classes:
I registered for my classes yesterday. YAY! I am taking Foundations of Info. Assurance at 9am-Noon and Ethics, Privacy & Digital Rights 1:30-4:30p. Both on Saturdays. Should be busy days. I'm not a fan of them being in the same room. Also that break is a bit long. If I'm going to be in class all day I'd like to get it over with. I may feel different after 3 hours of class, but I don't think so. I imagine myself being bored and annoyed during that time. Oh well. I'll deal.

Cool Science:
A few things I read this morning. One is about an AI Simulation. They are letting these AI agents run wild in a world of their own to see how they develop societies. What kind of language will they create? Will they create a leadership structure? Ceremonies? Should be interesting.

Another is about bandages made of ground shrimp shell which clots blood instantly. Pretty sweet! But of course it is currently for military use only. Go figure.
