I've heard about the Mayan calendar, and how it eerily stops at the date. Apparently the Mayans had the dates drawn on calendars for like a gazillion years, and suddenly stopped at the date, without any explanation. This has led people to think that that's when the world is supposed to end.

I admire the Mayans, Aztecs, and Incas. Smart people.

Geez, I really hope I get to Japan in 2010, just in case...o_O
