Glad you had a great day! John and I ate entirely too much, but enjoyed every second of it. Started at my sister's/BIL's house and played with the baby along with food. Then out to John's family, where we celebrated John's bday at his Aunt's/Uncle's house, along with his cousin Ian's bday (Monday) and belatedly celebrated my bday. So it was a really nice time. Today is recovery day, and trying to beef up our struggling word count.

Sweet. It sounds like you 2 had an excellent day!!!
How old is the baby now?
Happy Birthday to you both, btw. <3333333333

You have the perfect long weekend to get the writing in high gear, that's for sure.

Abby (baby) is just shy of 5 mos- she's learned to sit up on her own though! She doesn't quite have enough upper body strength to crawl yet, though she tries. Apparently she's said Momma a couple of times. You can tell she's trying to talk but hasn't quite figured it out yet. I got a couple pictures of her yesterday that were to die for. I'll have to post to my site and give you guys the links.

John and I are trying to get word count in, but the day-off-lazies are in full swing. I wrote a scary 2670 words in a couple of hours, and then had to take a nap. My brain just fries when I do that. If I could pull that off a few times more this weekend, I might be nearly done by Tuesday-- as far as word count goes. We'll have to see. :O)

and thanks for the bday wishes. We just finished off the last of the bday cake we brought home from J's aunt's house with some tea. His mom made it for him. :O)
