I don't like letting go

But I'm thinking about it. I'm curious, because we joke about how few people are still on livejournal, but I'm curious how many of my friends ACTUALLY read here. Some of you are quite active, I know. I'm not talking about you. I'm talking about the friends who HAVEN't posted in the last year, 2 years, 5 years. Do you even log in anymore? Do you ( Read more... )

There was an odd bit, when friend broke up with guy with whom I occasionally pontificated on LJ. He was still active, but I removed him from my list. It wasn't a value judgment about him. It was just a matter of, "Dude. You are not my friend." It didn't seem a relationship worth pursuing.
I was reminded of that moment by the line, "I just don't think you care."
And in the vast majority of the cases, you'll be right. And in the rest, the following sentence should by rights handle things.

Finally caught up with That Sci-Fi Guy. Video blogs are tricky because you pretty much have to be at home and you need to be ready to devote 10 minutes straight.
I was amused by the April Fools one, but also a little sad because I haven't seen 2012 yet I know it's brimming to overflowing with exactly the kinds of things that make those blogs comedy gold.

Can't say I blame you. I've noticed a huge decrease in the number of people who use LJ. I think you and about 3 or 4 other people I know are the only ones who post on my friend's page now. As oppose to the 20+ friends I have listed.
I'm crap at posting - mostly because I feel my life isn't very exciting at the moment and don't have much to say. Although an actual update is coming soon!
I do read all of your postings. I like hearing what's going on with people. I could be better at commenting.
I think this has actually inspired me to do a purge of my own friends list. Don't worry you'll still be on it ;)

Woo hoo! No worries about stalking, lord knows I have done it a bunch in the past. My method was "If you haven't updated in a year and a half, then." And I made this entry public, so that if I did delete in error...

Yeah, looking forward to actual update. I probably should do one of those about work. Just a lot of ... yeah, I need to put that behind a filter :P

i have hardly ever post on here. but then again i hardly post anywhere. i do log in atleast once a week, because i know most people see this as a journal and post on here like it is. so i try to stay up on that stuff so i know what is going on in my friends life.

If this is where your deeper thoughts reside, and if I'm welcome to read them, then I'd love to get added back
