School is back in session!
The kids are loving school so far (the big girls aren't complaining, that counts). Larkyn says she has the best teacher ever! Parker barely even told hubby bye when he dropped him off on the first day, he was ready to go meet new friends and play! Back to School!
School starts a week from tomorrow! The girls can't decide if they are ready to go back. I'm ready for some quiet time, lol. Aly has not driven once all summer, so she won't be able to get her license before school starts. We were hoping to bribe her with being able to drive to school instead of riding the bus, but she never got motivated. Bummer! ( Read more... ) -
Busy Busy!
We leave tomorrow morning for the World Championship! Aly competes at 8am on Friday in sparring and combat sparring. Please wish us luck, send us good vibes, think strong combat thoughts our way, lol. She is really excited and I hope she has fun! Plus it would be cool to win ( Read more... ) -
Vacation!
It's vacation time! We're leaving today, woohoo! We're not leaving until this afternoon, boo :( I would have preferred to leave first thing this morning but the demo team is finally having their celebration lunch today, so we are leaving immediately after lunch. Apparently I haven't posted anything in a really long time. Work is still work. Karate is still busy. Most of my kids got out of school yesterday. Parker's last day was last week, the girls last day was yesterday. I think Larkyn's last day is going to be today, but it's supposed to be next Weds. So this is a busy weekend! Well I think it's actually a busy Saturday and a nothing Sunday, but whatever it's busy! The girls are testing for 2BR on Saturday, which is 2nd degree black belt recommended. If they pass, then in 6 months they can test again for their 2nd degree. It's February!
I don't really have anything to say, but February is almost over and I haven't posted here, so let's fix that! The girls have a karate tournament this weekend. We're going down a day early with some friends and meeting a tournament friend for dinner the night before. The little ones are staying with MIL, so it will just be the four of us.
