it is much the same with goths, or at least all of the goths i know. people (especially after columbine, don't even get me started on that) sort of freak out that just because you're painted up like a vampire that you're actually going to try to drink their blood or use them in a satanic ritual or something like that. i keep trying to tell them that goths won't hurt you because that might mess up their make-up which they workled so hard to get just so, or otherwise damage/ruin their really expensive clothing. and seriously, have you ever tried to do anything athletic or even energetic in a corset and 6 inch platorms? not gonna happen.

you are more than welcome to goth it up at sally long's in our humble city centre. ;) i think they'd be overwhelmed more by the americanness rather than the corsetness. hahaha.

they won't know what hit'em.

it'll take a revolution for people to knock off the stereotype of outcasts being the danger. but then again, if that happened, we wouldn't be outcasts and able to express ourselves through social castration and/or atypical aesthetics.

i have heard about the ritz. it made me want to hit someone. but josh calmed me down, even though he wanted me to get all texaspunk on their asses. sigh. another great place bites the dust.
