For so long, using words meant "X." Now you have to find new uses, new motives, new words. Take your words from a backwards-looking stance, and orient them towards the days ahead.
it's the fact that i'm tired of the words i know, i think. and last week, on the train to dublin, dobo taught me new phrases in irish which have little to no literal translation into english. and i felt free.

I think he was there, or at least around. Ex-communication? Not in the passive (like we normally use it) but in the active? Words have only ever been for me a way to describe the map, like a kind of legend, but like any legend or map, it doesn't describe the terrain, words don't describe (or maybe they de-scribe, that is, they circum-scribe) reality. Words have never been my friends, only strange acquaintances. My friends, my true friends, know me in a place where language cannot be used.
