back by popular demand is the picture post.
well, we have some lovely pictures. if you want to see all 150 or so... go to my profile on bebo.com.
otherwise, here's a tiny sampling of our honeymoon exploits in barcelona. we were only there for a week, but we crammed a lot in in between you typical honeymoon things. ahem.

this was the view from the roof of our hotel, and yes, that's where the pool was.

my husband partakes of a cerveza in the tourist district.

and me enjoying the sun at our pitstop at the university.

and we found a lovely fountain/park area outside the local shopping centre.

should i be jealous?

the cathedral was really intricate and quite massive.

the main shopping area is a maze of tiny streets. we had to get unlost several times.

i found me some tea right quick.

the absinthe bar was amazing. we loved it.

there were altercations of which i wish not to speak.

it was warm, and it made us smile.

i found many fishies to devour.

and he found some evil vegetables that required consuming.

and then we go back to the hotel room.

i got tired trying to storm the city walls.

the view from where columbus is pointing in the monument. you get in a tiny elevator to a tiny little circle to look out over la rambla. and then you wait to get out.

and this is the monument from beneath the mighty lion.

and if you're still in the monument and you stick your camera out the tiny tiny window thing... this is the picture you get.

and sometimes, the americans get confused as to whether or not columbus was pointing toward the americas.

he likes the sun.

we had a frikkin blast at the parc guell. gaudi was very into candyland.

ok, the most intense structure i've ever seen has got to be la sagrada familia. the whole place looks as though it's melting or made of volcanic rock. and they aren't exactly rated G scenes depicted here.

and la padrera from the outside as we were not prepared to be conned out of another 8 euro to go in an elevator.

i learned a lot about barcelona. look at me learning.

and then lunch.
