I vaguely remembered feeling the train stop sometime around three, and thinking that we were going in reverse… but it was pitch black except for the stars, and ( Read more... )

Super Cailin -
sb here. I realize it's been almost a year since we last exchanged electronic responses, so I googled your name and pleasantly found all your adventures here. ( Used to have this link until Towson University swallowed my e-mail account whole only three days after graduation) I'm sorry I missed you when you were home this summer - I'm kind of close to H-town now ... Working as a writer monkey at the Frederick News-Post.
I can't tell you how much I missed you during my senior year at the T-light, I had my hands full. Anyway, the long short is I made it out, spent a month running around Europe, proceeded to spend the summer running around with the boyfriend and assorted hippies now workin' it as a shock .. journalist.
Shoot me an e-mail if you get a chance, I'd love to hear from you. It's sbreitenbach@gmail.com.

ps - I'm sure Mr. Parker would want me to tell you hello and virtually shake your hand

Wow! It sounds like you are having a fun trip. It’s exotic but definitely special. You are probably a lot stronger then before. I can’t imagine how difficult for a girl who grow up from United States to live in a developing country like Mauritania for two years. Why people put ‘super’ in front of your first name when they call you? I guess I know now. I am working in a good reputation IT company as a programmer for almost a year. I also have been improving a lot (IT knowledge and English-thanks for helping me in the old time). I am glad that I find this site, because me and my best friend are planning to go to morocco and stop my Nouakchott for a few days. If you have any good advice for my trip, can you post it on your site so everyone can reference it, or kick me an email: KTong50@hotmail.com Thanks, have fun and take care.
